ACN sat down with Jon Foster for the full story...
What was your first impression of ACN?
ACN made sense to us right away. Leslie immediately fell in love with the video phone. He family lives hundreds of miles away and she was drawn to the fact that she could see the people she loves the most. I wasdrawn to the people who were involved. We came from a negative industry - real estate was very depressing. Seeing ho everyone was upbeat and positive in ACN, I knew we could finally surround ourselves with high quality, like-minded people.
Did you have a defining moment when you knew this was your home?
It was at an International Training Event when we planted our flag. The defining moment was listening to ACN Co-Founder Greg Provenzano telling the story of the company. At the time, I had this fear that ACN wouldn't work for us. But when I heard the integrity of the Co-Founders and Mr. Provenzano sharing the vision and planned lifespan of this company outliving even him - it was emotional. It was such an exciting moment and such a relief that we finally found what we were looking for.
How does ACN differ from your previous careers?
Our previous career changed who we were because it was so negative and stressful. We used to be happy, upbeat, fun people but real estate took that away. ACN gave us our lives back. There's no stress and no liability. And the best part is getting to work with each other and our best friends every day in this amazing environment!
How would you describe the ACN environment?
It's contagious! Once you're exposed to it, you're drawn in like a magnet. It makes people want to continuously be around ACN. And the people involved make it so awesome. Even the top leaders-the people who don't even need the money anymore - you know they're building ACN for the right reasons. I met so many wealthy people in real estate that never wanted to help anyone. They'd say, "Figure it out and good luck." It's the exact opposite in ACN.
Describe the strategies you both adopted to find success.
Being prior business owners, we knew that it all came down to a strong work ethic. It was up to nobody else except us. And from day one we treated ACN like a multi-million dollar company. By placing huge value on this opportunity, we've built success.
Do you have a daily routine?
We're hard workers in ACN and have a daily schedule from meeting to meeting - whether it's with new IBOs or someone on our team. However, there are definitely days that we take off. We love going to the lake, spending time with our friends, taking day trips or simply taking our dogs for a walk in the morning before we go to the gym. Although we work hard, at the same time we enjoy life. We take the time to do what's important to us around our schedule - ACN has allowed us to do that.
Take me through your journey in ACN...
We've seen the company get better and better. They just keep reinventing themselves continually doing things to take our businesses to the next level. As far as our journey personally, I've never dreamed that we would have this much fun at work while making such an incredible income. Our friends who knew us before continually say how amazing it is to see how happy we now are. It feels really good to see the difference from then to today.
What is the most rewarding thing that ACN has provided you?
Leslie and I wanted to live and extraordinary life that we knew we deserved. And now we do! That 'Why' today has evolved now not only to ourselves, but also to helping others live that same extraordinary life, helping impact thousands of people in a great way.
What advice would you give someone looking at the ACN opportunity?
Every single person that is excited about this opportunity can do it! Success in ACN is not dictated by anything but the individual. The vehicle is there, the system is there. Your background doesn't matter - what matters is the excitement and the work ethic you bring to the table. And make sure to always believe in others. We all meet people who are negative and who've had rough backgrounds and it's easy to see the bad in them, but if leaders learn to see the good in people - to see their potential - your business will be unstoppable.
